A Conversation with Sarah
Get to know Sarah better as she answers questions about her impactful work and her inspiring career journey at ETAMU.
How do you help students in your current role?
I educate the students working behind the desks of Residential Living and Learning. They learn to have effective customer service and communication, as well as gaining conflict resolution skills and problem-solving.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most is being able to interact with students every day. I am able to help in a variety of ways and let students feel assured in any scenario.
How did you become a Graduate Community Coordinator? What earlier earlier positions/jobs did you have that prepared you for this?
I became a graduate community coordinator through the experience and leadership potentials I demonstrated in my previous position. I was a residential assistant, learning how every student plays a part in our university, and how I can help them successfully achieve their goals here too.
