What draws you to your discipline?
Accounting is the language of business and a high demand field. Having a foundation in Accounting will not only benefit you in your career but also help you make educated decisions regarding career plans, investments, and various other long-term decisions. An Accounting career can be extremely flexible and fit around your personal goals and aspirations.
What has been your favorite course to teach?
I love teaching Principles I. Students learn so much in this course; often times much more than they thought they could. I particularly enjoy having students who came into the classroom on day one skeptical who later told me they decided to change their major to accounting after realizing how applicable and valuable an accounting degree is.
