Texas A&M University-Commerce Director of Athletics Tim McMurray was recently appointed to serve as a member of the NCAA Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports. The purpose of the committee is to provide expertise and leadership to the NCAA to promote a healthy and safe environment for student-athletes through research, education, collaboration and policy development. The committee comprises of 22 members that include not only athletics administrators, but student-athlete representatives as well. His appointment will last through August 2024
